Epilepsy Mississauga is always looking for volunteers.  If you are interested in serving in our goal, please contact us.  Positions are available for any schedule or background.

Currently we are looking for:

  • Kids on the Block desperately needs people who will be willing to practice and present puppet shows to schools this coming September.
     
Recruitment and Recognition Volunteer

Purpose:
Responsible for the ongoing recruitment and retention of volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
- To develop strategies and plans for recruitment and retention

- Recruit volunteers through colleges and universities, educational institutions, and civic organizations, etc.

- Make presentations to community groups, etc.

- To implement and maintain a record system of individual volunteers

- To get feedback from volunteers

- To develop and maintain positive relationships with volunteers

- Develop strategies, programs, and events for volunteer recognition

Qualifications:

- Previous knowledge of recruitment and volunteer management an asset
- Excellent organizational skills

- Good communication skills

- Must be highly motivated

- Familiar with office software
